The Gen 2 Occidentalis Bino Harness has more of a minimalist design than our Gen 1. Designed to fit some x56 mm objective binoculars (ex- Swarovski SLC 15x46 with eye cups down), but is purpose built for 10x42 type binoculars with integrated rangefinders.

Other features of our bino harness include:

Ease of Access

Our Gen 2 bino harness features a forward-flip pouch access.

Comfort

Our 1.5 inch low-profile straps help distribute heavy loads and are comfortable to wear under any hunting pack.

Additional Storage

Sewn-in pouches behind the main pouch are designed to conveniently hold a cell phone and a pistol. In the pistol pouch there are muzzle indexing lines to prevent the pistol from rolling down in the pouch.

Customization

Side pouches are Molle based, so you can remove them and replace with any after-market options needed for your specific hunt.

Additional Security

We've integrated a bungie loop and cleat into the lid for additional optic security during those challenging hikes.

Helpful Tips

Harness Position

For maximum comfort, the harness should be worn high on the chest, which also prevents swinging. The
black disc should be adjusted vertically to distribute load across shoulders as desired.

Pistol Safety

Ensure pistol keeper (shock tube bungy or other method) is properly installed/maintained on the pistol
pouch and over the backstrap of your pistol when bending over, etc., to prevent the firearm from falling/creating an unsafe situation.

My favorite bino harness!

I have had my Occi harness for over a year now and I'm impressed with the quality and thought that was put into the creation and design. It is comfortable, convenient, and sturdy. I highly recommend it for anyone that plans on spending a lot of time outside and wants a convenient way to pack binos, small gear, and even snacks :)
